It's MoreThanTarot.com's 2nd day only, I love helping others...

How wonderful to be unattached to the outcome of things that you "live" in the moment.

Since our site isn't there to make money, I was up happy & refreshed & ready to check my site, add new products & the day's horoscopes, & do whatever free readings were requested the night before. It's great to be able to help people!

I've often felt like there was nothing I could do for others. Being on disability (both of us) with four kids to support & 2 elderly, disabled parents, makes for few chances to help a lot. We began to see what we could actually do one day, when I got a random SPAM email asking me to register for a site called Care2Action.com where I could sign petitions & make small (VERY small) donations to worthy causes. This felt nice to do something worthwhile online (besides my studies on WitchSchool).

After a while, I realized that I had been walking to the Pond at the end of my property at least twice a month to feed the animals (I couldn't afford more than that). So why couldn't I take a garbage bag with me & fill it on the way home? After a while, you could see the difference! (Locals often come here & put garbage all over)

Then I realized, I was giving free Tarot readings to people who really felt a need for one, but couldn't afford it. My husband (a Shaman) & I had been crafting magical items for friends, family & ourselves for a long time & even giving some for free to those we met who needed it. Why couldn't we do most or all of those things online? And if somehow we did make a penny or two, so much the better!

So. Check us out. We have a lot of freebies, contests & anything else can be bought (I can even reduce or eliminate my prices) or we can trade or barter! Or check back here. Most days this blog will have NOTHING to do with my store).

Thanks, I'm putting up some products today. We usually waited (when someone we met needed somethng, before it became a shop) & then worked out a design & crafted the item. But we don't know what to charge because we never have. It eventually got TOO expesive, though. People weren't even willing to pay a dollar or two just for our supplies. They'd buy me a coffee (which IS nice!) but when your income is under $700/mnth, & you have 4 children...... I'm sure everyone knows about money woes!
So why not go online, we thought, & charge very little, so our expenses are covered, & all the other things that just take our time (like readings) could be free?
That's why I thought we might even barter & trade...
If you have any advice I'd love to hear it....
