my story from when I saw Anne Frank’s hiding place

on Feb 21 2008 I went to Amsterdam on a college trip and the one thing I wanted to do was to see Anne’s hiding place. I have always loved her and her story and it was a dream come true when I SAW everything she wrote and walked where she and her family walked.

I was only there for a few hours since it was small, we went through THE bookcase and into the Annexe and we just went through, there was a mirror so you can see the attic because no one could go up, you go through this special tunnel and at the other end was a room with a HUGE picture of Anne at her desk and there in a glass case was THE DIARY. oh if only I could touch it, I remember at the moment I had just met my bible and that my dream came true, in another case there were lots of different covers and languages of the diary.

we walked into the gift shop where it was all books so its heaven for me. I think I bought the whole store lol no but I bought ALOT of books on Anne etc.

when I walked outside after the visit I CRIED my eyes out, it was so unreal.

MY DREAM CAME TRUE and I felt like I met one of my idols in a way…..
