I am sooooo excited about finally joining! I signed up for a lifetime membership and I can already tell that I won't be sorry.

I've been in the craft for about 15 years. I've practiced as a solitary and I've enjoyed that. But sometimes I feel the need to reach out to others. It's nice to be able to discuss the craft with like minded people. And by that I mean people that don't get the "deer in the headlight look" and say " You are a witch?" I always laugh and in my meanest wicked witch of the east voice, I inform them that yes I am a witch and I will get you my pretty and your little dog too!

I currently live in Southern California. I am from North Carolina. I truly miss going out in my herb garden and long walks in the woods behind my home. Not many trees in Southern California. But, when I move back to my green home, I'll be able to once again commute with nature. I so enjoy just sitting under a tall oak tree with the sun streaming down through the leaves. Listening to the wind and the occasional call of a wild turkey. I talked to my Goddess during this time and really felt close to her. I had a little squirrel friend that I used to take some breadcrumbs to and sit and laugh as he entertained me. That my dear friends is living. There is nothing as beautiful as a wild buck deer standing so majestic with his head held high as he watches his harem of doe's. I was never afraid on my long walks in nature. I felt very lucky to be able to do this because those days are quicky vanishing and I miss them terribly here in California.
