☮Peace for Today☮ Being Peace

Are you seeing Peace in your life and thus sharing it with all that is?

It is true. There is much turmoil in the world, not only on a political level, but on a personal level as well. But we do have the power to change how it affects us. All it takes is a change of mind. You would think that changing one's mind would be simple, but for many it is not.

Each day we make decisions. For instance, you might wake up one morning intending to wear a particular color. Then you change your mind and choose another color. Quick and simple. You used your power of determination/intention to change your mind. So it can be for other things as well.

When there is conflict and turmoil stirring around you, determine to be Peace and joy within yourself. When a situation arises that threatens to bring anxiety, fear or other lower energies into your experience, and you feel these lower energies begin to stir within your being...Stop...and change your mind. I like to stop and smile for one minute keeping thoughts about things that make me happy and visualize myself that way. You might also like to stop and smile and raise your hands up toward the sky and say "How fascinating!" (this one tends to make me laugh!). If you are beginning to feel sad, lonely or depressed, it helps to stand in front of the mirror and look at yourself, smile and say, "I love you!" then hug yourself and keep saying it.

By doing things like this, you are changing your mind and your thoughts. You are stopping the flow of lower energies and opening yourself to the flow of positive energy and embracing Peace within.

We are all powerful beings. We have the energies of the Universe, our Godde (Lord & Lady/Divine Parents) given gifts at our disposal. Let's use them to co-create Peace within our lives, our communities, our world and on our planet. We can do this, one person at a time, beginning within ourselves.
