samhain

Samhain/all hollows eve.
it has alot of meaning to me. it was the day that i was officially adopted. just found out that it was raining that day as well. that makes so much sense to me why i am so drawn to the element water. Halloween was always my favorite holiday even since i was little, before i knew this path. i actually wrote out my first ritual ever for Samhain this year. i'm hoping that it goes ok! I love how it is a time to remember those who have come before, and ask for the love and guidance all year round. it is the time where we prepare for the dark winter months. here is hoping that everyone has a great samhain! no matter what you call it, or how you celebrate it!!! blessed be!!!

Comment by Fantumofthewinds on October 25, 2010 at 6:00am: I would think that it is a favored time for all , even though the work has not stopped.it is a inner woven feast and many cultures are involved . but most of all its a cooler season then summer that's for sure. No matter how we celebrate it , or who we think invented it, its been all around the world in one date or another and to me its one of the best seasons for both adults an children. I simply love pumpkin pie lol. have a good one BB
