Sometimes I Just Have to Say Wow!

So, when you become a Witch there's a LOT of moments where you just have to say wow, right?

But sometimes I say it more than others, & on a day like today, I saw it with such conviction - I'm in awe of the Mother as usual...

And I'm in awe of the Tarot...

Is anyone familiar with the deck that's called "Tarot of the Magical Forest"?

Well, I have started using it lately, I'd like to take one of my decks each week & use it exclusively for that week, & for some reason this one felt right to be the first one.

So there's been a very bad illness or 4 lol, in my life & my parents were gracious enough to raise my children (so far) for me so that I could care for myself & they could have a good & proper, happy childhood... or so I thought.My private life is my private life, & my children are old enough they may not want others to know what they've been through, but let me just say the 2 words the police have said to me "CULT ABUSE".,,

So, I am better now, mostly, & I was called & told to pick up my children immediatly, yet somehow immediatly has turned into almost 6 weeks of delays. So, supposedly, today is finally the day, although with the blizzard we have here I may not be able to travel out of state to get them after all. Not yet anyway.

So I did a reading & I won't get into the whole reading, but the final card, the outcome card - or as it's called in this reading the 'chance or tendency' card.

I got the 6 of swords card, which in the booklet (which I checked after because I didn't like what my intuition was telling me) means "transported by the events" (my intuition was telling me that this card was about a delay in the situation. other times I've been transported by events I was swept along & things have gone badly for me...).

The image is 3 animals in a boat. They're traveling over an icy river AWAY from me, the reader, their backs face us.I have 3 kids... the animals are also a small, medium & large one, My eldest is very big, my middle child is tiny & my youngest is somewhere in the middle.

So I have these cards called the Goddess Knowlege Cards. They're really not an oracle at all of any kind, but I use them as such. They're just GORGEOUS paintings of Goddess & descriptions of them on the back. I asked for the Goddess that would teach me what I needed to learn today as regards this day & I pulled Hera! Bringer of seasons, nurturing & powerful mother, associated with the peacock, an animal that 'knows the weather'...

So I think She was telling me "if there's a delay due to the weather or anything else, whether I, Hera, facilitated this directly or not, it will only happen if it's of great benefit to the children".

The other cards also hit me like a ton of bricks.

Once again, I said wow & am delighted that I have WitchSchool, the Great Mother & the Tarot in my life!
