A few of you were keeping up with my mom's health on here, and some were even friends with her as well. She hadn't been able to get online or get more into her studies because her health kept deteriorating. She passed away this past December 17. The breast cancer had spread throughout her body and she lived maybe a week or two past what the doctors told us. She lived long enough to find out the sex of her grandchild. We are having a girl. She didn't get to see the 4d u/s but she did see the normal one. I only wish she'd gotten to feel Nari kick. We are naming our daughter Lunari after my mother's love of the moon and astronomy. I'll be calling her Nari because my mom preferred to spell her name as Mari. I really miss her and it is hard since I'm already emotional with the pregnancy. My mother inspired me in so many ways. The only advise I can really give is this: ladies, or even men!, if you notice a lump - no matter how small - go get it checked. Don't wait, because the longer you do the less likely your chances will be if it does turn out to be breast cancer.
