The Pagan Globetrotter - Issue 4- January NC trip, part 3

Well, I had an enjoyable visit with our Correllian friends in Eden, North Carolina. I met with Phoenix Firestar Rising and her husband Jack, and Ashley Laing and her fiancé Kevin, and Ashley Evans. It was a lazy afternoon and evening. We and just talked about stuff, hung out for a while, went to dinner, and then we went back to Phoenix’ house. Since the evening was young, we hung out for a couple more hours, just talking, some of it was talking about our faiths, some of it was just hanging out and talking about nothing in particular. I really enjoyed the visit. It was relaxing and fun after a hard week.

There is even some discussion of organizing a Correllian Shrine in the area. That is exciting. Traveling around and encouraging people to come together in-person is possibly the best part of my life.

Unfortunately, I had to get up and leave the next morning. A long Saturday drive was ahead of me. I really hated going. Next time I get down to Eden I’m going to have to program in a little more time, so I can have even more time with these great people, and share some more stuff, share some more stories with them and share their life a little more.
