Ariel, I commend you on your comment regarding Green Egg not
being mentioned in this Witch School video! Green Egg was the
forerunner of all Pagan magazines and journals, leading the way
for the Pagan movement since 1968, thanks to Oberon and other
pioneers in the Pagan community. The journal, of which I have
many, is beyond reproach in its expertise. Now Green Egg as an
ezine is as wonderful as ever thanks to you and Tom Donohue.
In my opinion Green Egg was, and always will be, the most wonderful
Pagan journal ever! Every new student on the Pagan path should be
aware of this truly wonderful journal!

Hi Don: Ariel Monserrat of the Green Egg magazine here. Not to be negative, but you never mentioned Green Egg! I'm amazed because it's kind of the grandmother of all Pagan journals. As far as we know, it was the first Pagan journal (first published in 1968) and we're still publishing. Yes we are only in ezine format for now but we do have plans to publish a yearly compendium of our Green Egg issues for each year. We are researching the best way to do that. We won awards, and it had a huge readership. We had the likes of Marion Zimmer Bradley, Darryl Cherney, Robert Heinlein, Robert Anton Wilson, Anodea Judith, Joanna Macy, and an endorsement from Jacques Vallee, who never endorses anyone or anything unless he feels it is top notch - and of course our own Oberon and Morning Glory Zell-Ravenheart wrote many innovative articles. In fact, you used to submit ads to Green Egg as well. In fact, many long-time Pagans have often said that that is how they met other Pagans, was through Green Egg. Regarding forums/letters to editor - we had the Legendary Green Egg Forum, which people still ask me about. Regarding mimeographed magazines: We still have the very first Green Egg mimeograph, produced in 1968 as our first issue.
Also, since Witch School hosts the radio show that Oberon and I do every Wednesday, I would think you'd remember us.
I know we're all getting older and forgetful, myself included :) but seriously Don - what's up with that?
