I designed a tattoo from information I researched online about Hagalaz, wish now I could review the sources. Some information is same, some is quite different. I read both Norse & Icelandic sources stating that Hagalaz is the egg that holds the secrets to the universe. It corresponded with Tarot card #2 (High Priestess) and the aquamarine eye that sees the truth. I've had much reaction from Asians & Filipinos who think it's "the green eye of truth" which, if you look that up does seem to have correlation. An alternate form of the rune is a 6 petaled flower (which I transformed to owl feathers to represent wisdom). But the Wiccans are never fooled, they see it for what it is, which impresses me. I was surprised to hear the correlation with the Tower card. That information is so different & I wonder if I made a mistake or sourced an unreliable web site. The whole storm, sudden change thing just doesn't jive with what I created. So now you've really got me thinking! I liked the video & information. Very cool. I did also associate it with the fern, but that tattoo was embellished during the inking process by the artist & ended up looking like the design on a Jamaican Tarot card shop! The final tattoo is supposed to be a dolphin whispering the truth into my ear, but I haven't got it yet because dophin tatts are soooo expensive (law of supply & demand).
